Robin sat alongside Katniss's house, staring up at the rising sun. It was a surprisingly beautiful scene here.

Lionel still felt like a bit Out of it at Katniss' place, and it didn't help that they were all girls. But he did love the view here. "Hello, Robin," he says sitting down next to her.

Robin said nothing. She still felt awkward, and even slightly betrayed around Lionel, even if he did save her life... or at least her leg. She nodded slowly,

He sighs; might as well get this out of the way. "Look," he begins, " I'm sorry about the other day, it's just..." his courage fails him, and he falls into silence.

She puts her hand on his knee, and shook her head. "You did what you had to do," she whispered hollowly.

He can just let that be the truth, but his heart is saying no, he can't let her believe that. At least, not without knowing on thing. "Robin," he begins, "I need you to tell me something. I know Evans trusts me, but what about you? I mean, you have no reason to, after how I treated you..." Damn. Eighteen years and he still has no social skills.

"I-I..." She breaks off, feeling something stir inside of her despite her protests. "I-I can't... I know you did nothing wrong, but as much as I tell myself that... it stirs back up. Drugs... Doctors... Just being around them makes me panic. My heart feels like it will burst. You're... a good person."

Something relaxes. " 'Doctorphobia', eh?" he smiles. "Then, I hope you think of me as a healer, or maybe a older brother. not one of those who hurt you." And he did. In an amazingly short time, he had found himself thinking of all the girls as sisters. Except maybe Evans.

"Doctorphobia..." she smiled slightly.
But it's deeper than than. It's not just a fear, it's terror.
"I would rather die than go back in time, and relive what they did to me," she said tightly, her teeth clenched.
She relaxed though, as she spoke again, her voice light "Healer... maybe. Brother... I can live with that."
But the glint of terror and flash-back remained in her eyes.

The longer he spent with these girls, the more he felt he was the only one without some horrifying backstory. "I promise I won't let anyone hurt you," he whispers, wrapping his arms around her. "Promises."

(Hmmm... It's true, isn't it? You ARE the only one without a horrifying back-story arn't you? I'm constant updating Robin's backstory... the one about her fencing practice...? What's your backstory. You should make one...) Did she flinch? No. And she was happy about it too. Robin sniffled slightly and laned against him, just as she lifted her eyes to the sky... dawn broke-- sending brillaint waves of light across the sky in dazzling colors. Sunbeams and clouds painted the morning. She blinked, overwhelmed, before grinning. This wasn't the end. Death of loved ones isn't the end. It's the start. Every sunrise restarts the day, inviting you to leave behind your scars. And Robin did.

(heh, yeah. I will, but not so horrifying. Or he forgot about it. Idk.)
She was warm against his torso. It was a nice feeling. He smiled, letting her stare of into the sunrise. And somehow, it was prettier here than at home. He ran his hands through her hair. He would pay many times his life to have mire moments like these.

Of course, the moment didn't last long. A banging Peace-keeper on the house a few doors down made Robin flinch and narrow her eyes. A second, and a third followed. All had weapons.
When the door was finally opened, the peackeepers barged inside and bagining noises could be heard throughout the entire house.
They were searching for something.
Or someone.
Robin leapt to her feet. She had to warn Clove. And get out of here as fast as possible.

A thunk on wood. A deep voice. Holy crap. Lionel jumped to his feet. This would be bad. "Go get Evans," he commands. " And ask her to bring down a white sheet." he ran inside, grabbing his kit.
